For me this was an unexpectedly good read. It follows the life of Katie Kontent and her seemingly privileged friends in 1930,s New York. Reminiscent of 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' it is glamorous and classy. I felt transported back in time to the jazz clubs where beautiful people sip martini's through the night. Decadent and insightful.
