The second book in the Taker trilogy and every bit as good. I expected this to be set in real time but it moves into the past giving more depth to the story. Dark, pacy and compulsive, Katzu knows how to tell a good story, creating an underlying sense of foreboding. A must read, this is quite brilliant. The release date for The Descent, the final book in the series has changed a few times, now due January 2014,  I can't wait!
