Karou is a young girl living in two worlds, an art student in Prague but also messenger to Brimstone, sorcerer and chimaera in Elsewhere. Not knowing who or what she really is Karou is cast from Elsewhere as all the doors begin to close. I loved this book, which is reminiscent of Angelology and Narnia. Full of magic and secrets it is a delicious fantasy.
