A short novel about a world slowly taken over by zombies. "R" senses that he is different to the other zombies, he is able to think and communicate-then he meets Julie, and he falls in love. He protects her, and wants to keep her for himself. This is macabre, gory yet also funny, touching and quirky. An unlikely romance that is sweet, with an ending full of hope.
